LocoMobile is a participatory project to build bicycle trailers for use by LocoMotion committees in all Montreal neighborhoods. Groups of citizens are invited to participate in the construction of the trailers through collective building sessions supported by LESPACEAMKAER artisans.
The trailers are built mainly from recycled materials (wheels assembled at SOS vélo, steel recovered by the Recyborg cooperative and ash wood supplied by the Ville-Marie borough). The LocoMobile initiative is the fruit of a partnership between Solon-Collectif and LESPACEMAKER.
